Oct. 22-26 is Fall Severe Weather Preparedness Week in Mississippi. The National Weather Service, Mississippi Emergency Management Agency (MEMA), and other supporting organizations are providing the public with information about severe weather safety.

Monday, we will be celebrating the Memorial Day holiday. This is the day we set aside to remember those who have fought for our country and never returned home. We also remember the veterans have passed away after returning home.
