Stores see record weeks as panic grips consumers

With Gov. Tate Reeves cancelling schools until April 17 and urging social distancing and quarantining, the local grocery store has become the most popular place in the county.

The independent grocery stores, such as Garvin’s Cashsaver and the Piggly Wiggly of Union, have seen a spike in business of unprecedented levels.
