Price selected ECCC’s ‘Humanities Instructor of the Year’

History instructor Madison Price is East Central Community College’s “Humanities Instructor of the Year” and will be recognized Tuesday, Nov. 7 on the Decatur campus. 

Price will present a special program, held in conjunction with Arts and Humanities Month, beginning at 6:30 p.m. in the Vickers Fine Arts Center auditorium. 





Hornets upset Philly

When Tate Hanna took over the football program at Lake High School, he insisted he wanted to instill a toughness in his players.

That toughness showed up on Friday night when the Hornets stunned Philadelphia 34-30 to knock the top-ranked Tornadoes from the ranks of the unbeaten.
