JACKSON – The Mississippi Department of Education (MDE) released today statewide results from the 2018-19 Mississippi Academic Assessment Program (MAAP), which shows student achievement has reached an all-time high in English Language Arts (ELA) and mathematics.
JACKSON –Andrew Weir, a recent graduate of East Central Community College, a junior at Mississippi College and Newton native, was recently selected to participate in the undergraduate portion of the Mississippi Rural Dentists Scholarship Program (MRDSP). He is the son of Sam and Karla Weir of Newton.
