Cherry, Reynolds announce engagement
Mr. and Mrs. Benny Frank Cherry, along with Dr. and Mrs. Kevin Matthew Reynolds of Forest, are pleased to announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their children, Casey Jane Cherry and Ky Andrew Reynolds.
Casey, a 2012 honor graduate of Union High School, continued her education at East Central Community College in Decatur on a softball scholarship. She later transferred to Mississippi State University where she acquired her Bachelor of Science degree in secondary English education.
She is currently a seventh grade English/language arts teacher in Scott County School District. She is the granddaughter of the late Pete and Jane Breland of Union and the late Grover and Elva Cherry of Louisville.
Ky graduated as an honor student from Forest High School in 2012. He began continuing his education at Mississippi State University before joining the United States Air Force in August 2015. As an Airman First Class C-17 Loadmaster, Ky has recently traveled everywhere from Honolulu, Hawaii, to Bagram, Afghanistan, with many other missions, as well. He is currently completing his bachelor’s degree in building construction science at Mississippi State University.
He is the grandson of Mrs. Vernoy Reynolds and the late Dr. Kermit Reynolds of Forest, as well as Mr. Coley Bagwell and the late Mrs. Doris Bagwell of Louisville.
The couple will exchange vows at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, June 9, at the Hewlett Barn of Starkville, where there will also be a reception to immediately follow.
After a tropical honeymoon, Ky and Casey will make their home in Harperville. They ask for prayers of encouragement and support as they begin their new lives together this summer.
