UNION: VFD gets new ‘jaws of life’

The Union Fire Department recently received an upgrade on a vital piece of machinery.

With the approval from Mayor Welch and the Union Board of Aldermen, the department was able to purchase new “Jaws of Life” rescue tools.

According to Volunteer Fire Chief Dale Yates, this upgrade was a highly needed item for the dept.

SUPERVISORS: Sheriff to apply for JAG grant program
