The Lake girls pulled out one win in three games last week.
The Lady Hornets beat Morton 50-45 and dropped a 43-42 overtime decision to Bay Springs. The Lady Hornets also fell 50-31 to Newton County.
The Hornets dropped all three contests last week, falling 58-34 to Morton, 56-32 to Bay Springs and 49-33 to Lake.
Lake is scheduled to host Sebastopol on Monday and was scheduled to play at Newton on Friday.
Lake girls 50, Morton 45
The Lady Hornets built a big lead in the second and third periods and held on to take a five-point lead over the Lady Panthers.
Morton held a 9-8 lead at the end of the first period but Lake outscored the Lady Panthers 13-8 in the second to lead 21-17 at the half. Lake then pulled away in the third, outscoring Morton 24-13 to take a 45-30 lead into the fourth period. Morton outscored Lake 15-5 in the fourth but the Lady Panthers held on to take the win.
Laneisha Palm led Lake with 22 points while Ameria Ervin had 10 points.
Morton boys 58, Lake 34
The Panthers started fast and never looked back to take a 24-point win over the Hornets.
Morton jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the first period and outscored Lake 12-8 in the second to lead 26-8 at the half. Morton extended its lead in the third, outscoring Lake 20-12 in the third to lead 46-20 at the end of the third.
Cameron Hunt and Leezudrick White each had 12 points apiece for the Hornets.
Bay Springs girls 43, Lake 42
The Lady Bulldogs needed an extra period to take a one-point win over the Lady Hornets.
Each team scored 11 points in the first period and Bay Springs outscored Lake 13-8 in the second to lead 24-19 at the half. Lake then outscored Bay Springs 12-10 in the third and 7-4 in the fourth send the game into overtime tied at 38. Morton outscored Lake 5-4 in the overtime period to take the win.
Laneisha Palm led Lake with 17 points while Ameria Ervin had eight points. Laurel Breland and Alicia Oliphant each scored six points apiece.
Bay Springs boys 56, Lake 32
The Bulldogs built an early lead and cruised to a 24-point win over the Hornets.
Bay Springs jumped out to an 18-5 lead at the end of the first and outscored Lake 18-10 in the second to lead 36-15 at the half. Bay Springs outscored Lake 14-6 in the third and led 50-21 going to the fourth.
Leezurick White led Lake with 10 points.
