Submit a Letter

The Newton County Appeal welcomes feedback and commentary from its readers in the form of Letters to the Editor and Op-Editorial Columns. Letters to the Editor are limited to no more than 300 words and must be signed by the author. They must also include the person's address, phone number and email address. This personal information will not be published without consent of the author. The Appeal reserves the right to reject any submissions or to edit for grammatical errors and length.

Op-Editorial Columns are limited to no more than 600 words and must include the author's name, title, headshot photograph and contact information. Contact information will only be published with consent of the author.

The weekly deadline for opinion submissions is at noon Friday for consideration in the following Wednesday edition.
