In her role as Publisher, she is responsible for the overall vision, growth, and sustainability of the publication—ensuring that it continues to deliver trusted local journalism while remaining a vital voice for the community.
A resident of Union, Mississippi for over a decade, Kristina brings years of experience in public service, small business, and community engagement to her leadership. In addition to steering the paper’s operations, she serves as the go-to contact for all advertising needs, helping businesses and organizations connect with readers through effective print, digital, and special section campaigns.

Robbie Robertson is the sports editor for the Newton County Appeal. He is a veteran of the newspaper industry, having worked with numerous newspapers including the Meridian Star and the Newton Record.
