The Union basketball teams finished out the regular season this past week by splitting a pair of games.
The Union girls lost 66-23 to Morton on Tuesday but then bounced back and beat Clarkdale 57-45 on Friday.
The Union boys also lost to Morton, falling 59-37 but also bounced back and beat Clarkdale 53-42.
Both teams advance to the Division 5-3A tournament this week at Morton.
The Union girls will play on Tuesday at 7 p.m. while the Union boys will play Enterprise at 8:30 p.m.
Union girls 57, Clarkdale 45
The Lady Yellowjackets built an early lead and cruised to take a 12-point win.
Gracyn Tillman led Union with 22 points while Kylee Madden had 12 points. Destiny Moulds had eight points while Anna Shaw and Rymia Craft each had seven points apiece.
Union boys 53, Clarkdale 42
The Yellowjackets took three of the fourth periods and an 11-point win over the Bulldogs on Friday.
Mason Tucker led Union with 18 points while U’Darrion Hickman had 11 points. Kamarion Rushing and Keon Hutchins added eight points.
Morton girls 66, Union 23
Rymia Craft led Union with nine points.
Morton boys 59, Union 37
Michael Buffington led Union with nine points while Keon Hutchins had eight points and Kamarion Rushing added seven points.
