Rustic Flair holds grand opening

A new mini mall is open for business in the City of Union.

The Rustic Flair Boutique recently held its grand opening prior to Thanksgiving with a host of community members and visitors to celebrate its grand opening.

The business is owned by Leann and Chris Milling, and it is located at 107 Bank Street in Union.

NCHS FFA gets silver award

A team of Future Farmers of America from Newton County High School recently went to nationals and competed at the highest level, coming away with a silver award.

The event was held in Indianapolis, Ind., and featured the top FFA teams from across the country.
