Tate Reeves visited the Newton J. Elliott McMullan Library to sign the book "A History of the Mississippi Governor's Mansion by David G. Sansing and Carroll Walker. Newton's Holt McMullan has been able to obtain the signatures of every sitting governor since the book was published in 1977. Reeves was the 14th and the first to do it in Newton.
