Multiple fire departments including Newton, Decatur and Hickory responded to this house fire in the 600 block of South Main St. According to workers on the scene, the family was able to get out of the house safely. However, the fire burned all night Monday, as firefighters worked to contain the blaze. The cause is not known at this time.
