The Newton Board of Mayor and Aldermen will be giving Maj. McKenzie Patrick a $2 per hour raise based on the promotion recently
The raise will go into effect with the first pay period following Feb. 15.
Police Chief Randy Patrick said Maj. Patrick also recently completed an investigator’s training.
