Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church
Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church will hold Revival Services from Sunday, Oct. 19 (two services at 11 a.m. and 6 p.m.), with nightly services beginning Monday, Oct. 20, thru Wednesday, Oct. 22, beginning at 7 p.m. Bro. Randall Creel will be the evangelist and Bro. Gary Thorne will be the music director. The church is located on Highway 15 approximately five miles south of Union. Everyone is invited to attend!
Green Grove Baptist Church Anniversary Program
Green Grove Baptist Church will hold their 153rd Anniversary Program on Sunday, Oct. 19, at 11 a.m. Minister Addie Watts will deliver the anniversary message. Green Grove Baptist Church is located at 807 Tanglewood Road in Lawrence.

Ladies of Third New Hope District Events
The Ladies of Third New Hope District in Newton are humbly requested to participate in events during the East Mississippi Baptist State Convention on Oct. 28-30. On Tuesday, Oct. 28, Dr. Jackson will be honored as our “Lest We Forget” recipient. All ladies are requested to wear a white dress with red accessories. And on Wednesday, Oct. 29, the ladies will participate in the Women in White March and celebrate Breast Cancer Survivors. Please wear a white with pink accessories. Both events will begin at 4:30 p.m. at St. John M.B. Church in Meridian.
Saint John Church Anniversary Celebration
Saint John Church invites you to their Anniversary Celebration of the purchase of land in the 1800’s, the building of the old church in 1938, and the building of their new church in 2004. The celebration will take place on Sunday, Nov. 23, at 2 p.m. Guests will include Pastor Horatio Wilson and Pleasant Grove M.B. Church in Newton.
