Trunk or Treat hosted by FBC Newton
Please join us at First Baptist Church Newton, located at 307 E. Church Street in Newton, for an evening of fun, games, and fellowship as we host Trunk or Treating on Wednesday, Oct. 29, beginning at 6 p.m. Costumes are welcome! Auction for Missions at Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church
The Women’s Missionary Society of Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church will be holding their annual Auction for Missions on Saturday, Nov. 1. Concession-style food will be sold from 5-6 p.m., with the Auction beginning at 6 p.m. There will be a variety of hand-crafted items, homemade baked goods, as well as many other items to be auctioned. Make plans to attend, as this is always a great event! The church is located on Highway15, approximately 5 miles south of Union.
FBC Union to Launch Two Morning Services
In response to significant growth in recent months, First Baptist Church of Union is expanding its Sunday morning schedule to include Two Worship Services. Beginning Nov. 2, FBC Union will offer identical worship service options at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m., with Sunday School beginning at 9:45 a.m.
Fall Festival at Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church
Mt. Zion Congregational Methodist Church, located 5 miles south of Union on Highway 15, will be hosting a Fall Festival on Sunday, Nov. 2, beginning at 4:30 p.m. There will be games, a bouncy house, chili cookoff, cake walk, and lots of fun and fellowship! The evening will end with a hayride. Come join us!
Fall Revival at Bethlehem M.B. Church
The Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church will have their Fall Revival beginning Sunday, November 2-4. Guest speakers are as follows: Sunday night at 5:00 p.m.-Pastor Terry Anderson Decatur M.B. Church Decatur, MS; Monday night at 7:00 p.m.- Pastor Joshua Lyles Bethel M.B. Church of Hickory, MS; and Tuesday night at 7:00 p.m.- Pastor Shawn Croft of Morning Star M.B.Church Newton, MS.

Saint John Church Anniversary Celebration
Saint John Church invites you to their Anniversary Celebration of the purchase of land in the 1800’s, the building of the old church in 1938, and the building of their new church in 2004. The celebration will take place on Sunday, Nov. 23, at 2 p.m. Guests will include Pastor Horatio Wilson and Pleasant Grove M.B. Church in Newton.
