Smith Chapel Church Homecoming and Revival
Pastor Glenn Scott welcomes all to Homecoming on Sunday, Oct. 15, beginning at 2 p.m. Come bring a dish or dessert.

Women’s Day Program at Spring Hill M.B. Church
The Spring Hill M.B. Church, Pastor Jerry Jones, and the Home Mission will present their Annual Women’s Day Program on Sunday, Oct. 15, at 1:30 p.m.
The Theme is ‘Women Warriors’ - ‘Fight the good fight of faith’ 1 Timothy 6:12.
Guest speaker will be our Elect Lady, Sis. Ola Jones. Guest Mistress of Order will be Sis. Glenda Parks. Everyone is invited to attend. Refreshments will be served immediately following the program.

Annual Women’s Conference 2023 at Saint John’s Church
Saint John’s Church in Newton will have their Annual Women’s Conference 2023 on Oct. 28, beginning at 9 a.m. Colors for the event are pink/white/black for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The theme is ‘The Great Healer! Cancer is Real & God can Heal!’ The scripture is Psalms 103:3. There will be three speakers: Sister Nickie Irby, Sister Cathy Evans, and Sister Bobby Jean Price.
Morning Manna Prayer Line Sponsors Community Thanksgiving Dinner
Morning Manna Prayer Line will be sponsoring a Thanksgiving Community Dinner on the day of Thanksgiving, Nov. 23, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. It’s for the whole community of Newton and surrounding areas. We want to reach out to those that may not have family or that will not have a traditional Thanksgiving dinner. It will be located at the church building right behind the library and before you get to the cleaners. Everything will be free.
