When I attended Shreveport Job Corps in Louisiana around 2016, I had the incredible opportunity to serve as the student government president. One of the perks of that role was getting to attend a local summer golf camp. A high school friend had piqued my interest in golf, and Job Corps offered my first real chance to play.
