School is out for the summer… almost anyway. For many seniors, today will be their last day of high school as they await graduation night. The next couple of weeks will be full of lasting memories and differing emotions as each begins to make adjustments for life after high school. And that next step will be here soon enough, but it is not here yet.
What is here right now is opportunity to experience the moment and gain value from it. So much will change in a short time and there will be much to do, but try not to get so excited or overwhelmed with what is to come that the present is forgotten. Be responsible in your celebrations, give thanks to those who have helped guide you along the way and take time to enjoy family and friends.
“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift of God, which is why we call it the present.”
“For the present is the point at which time touches eternity”
