So, soon it will be warm out again, despite the weather from this weekend, and with that comes Spring. Spring brings new life to the environment, pollen, and heat. I would like to tell you a few good habits to put into practice as the temperatures rise and life gets really busy. A good thing to do in Spring is reset your sleep schedule. Winter makes you never want to leave your bed, and that can make you sleep later than you need to; in turn, making you late for stuff. Since it is getting warmer, walking is a great habit to pick up. Walking is good for your health, and if you are like me, motivate yourself by taking your dog with you on your walk. Go outside, soak in the sunshine, and get some fresh air. If you are like me, it is too cold to go outside in Winter, and once summer hits, it is almost too hot to go outside. Sometimes it is too hot to go outside for more than fifteen minutes. So, soak in the sun while it is a decent temperature outside. When you do go outside, protect your skin and eyes. Wear sunscreen and sunglasses. With that, make sure you stay hydrated. You might not feel like you are dehydrated, but you probably are. So, make sure to drink lots of water. Clean and declutter your house. Yes, having a clean house is actually good for you. It reduces your level of stress, and it reduces sadness overall. I hope that these little bits of information might help you pick up a new habit as Spring rolls around this year. If you do pick something up, I hope that it benefits your mood and your health!
