Most wives only have one set of in-laws, but I was blessed with two! Every time I see one of my father in-laws, I get a little wiser and usually have a good laugh.
The other day, Brad and I were venting to Pops, Mike McNeil, about different things, but we knew God was still going to take care of us. He then told us of many times God has taken care of him, and he then said “If you put God first halfway, He’ll take care of you. But can you imagine how much better it would be if you gave Him your all?”
I’m guilty of not being the best Christian I could be, and I’m extremely blessed now. It’s so hard to imagine I could be even more blessed if I worked a little bit harder in my spiritual life.
My encouragement for us all this week is to strive just a little bit more for God.
Be in prayer for all the students going back to school. It is always a tragedy for summer vacation to come to an end.
