With all the different battles in the Book of Samuel, I’ve had a lot of trouble keeping up with everything. But the other morning, I had something stand out to me. In 2 Samuel 7:4-7, God told Nathan to tell David to build a
house for Him to dwell in. The worship house was built for the Lord to come and live in.
Are we allowing God to come into our worship zones today? Our worship zones can be more than just church, but our homes, our cars on the way to the store or even our yoga mats at Hunky Dory. Are we letting Him come in and move about us?
While pondering on this, think about the words of Francesca Battistelli’s song;” Holy Spirit you are welcomed here. Come flood this place and fill the atmosphere. Your glory, God is what our hearts long for.
To be overcome by your presence, Lord.” Let your mind and heart be open to God and what He is speaking to you. Pray for all the churches in the community, big and small, and that God is being allowed to move in and speak to everyone.
On Sept. 24 at 11 a.m., everyone is welcomed to come join Pinckney Baptist as they celebrate 170 years. It will definitely be a service to be a part of!
Remember all affected by the storms the past couple of weeks and safety for all those unable to leave the areas affected.
I hope everyone has a very blessed week.
