For the past week or so, I've been passing a church sign in Union that reads "count your blessings; not your problems." I've heard that statement all my life, but I have to remind myself of it when I become discouraged.
As children of God, we definitely have it all. We are blessed beyond compare. We just let the little picky things get in the way of our vision of all our blessings. I like to think we need to be like the Rev. Tim Bedwell of Hudson Chapel. No matter what, if you ask Bro. Tim how he's doing, his reply is going to be, " I'm blessed." That should be all of our replies because we are truly blessed!
I would like thank Pine Ridge MB for throwing Brad and me a beautiful shower. We are so thankful for all the love, gifts, and amazing refreshments and punch!
A special shout out goes to Ms. Versie Thames Windham. Even though she lives on the coast, she still receives her copy of the Newton County Appeal so she can keep up with the news at her "forever home."
