The Newton County Board of Supervisors held their monthly meeting on Feb. 2, where they opened with a heartfelt farewell to retiring county employee Todd Reece. Reece, who has been serving as a solid waste officer for five years, also directed the trash pickup program with the Newton County Sheriff’s Department.
