The Newton County School District Teacher of the Month sponsored by State Farm Insurance is Kathy Peoples. She is a seventh grade teacher at Newton County Middle and High School. Above: She is pictured with her class after receiving the award.
On why Peoples was selected for the award, NCMHS principall Cody Killen said, “She’s always teaching, she never wastes a moment. She’s a big part of our team-teaching and communications and has really taken a lead there. She really is a difference maker and we truly appreciate all that she does.”
