Mr. Emmett Hart was born December 18, 1927 to Elizabeth Davis, who preceded him in death through childbirth and was raised by his grandparents, Randolph and Lucy Davis, whom also preceded him in death.
He was retired from the Brotherhood of Carpenters of Chicago, Ill., for over 35yrs.
Mr. Emmett, who passed away on February 4, 2022, leaves to mourn his loving and devoted wife of 30 years, Mrs. Beverly Hickmon Hart; three (3) sons, Emmitt Davis Jr. (Nell) of Gulfport, Mississippi; Eugene Davis of Chicago, Illinois; Willie Davis (T.J.) of Denver, Colorado; one daughter, Leann Davis, preceded him in death; three (3) devoted step-children, who respected and loved him dearly, Tatarian D. Hickmon of Gluckstadt, Mississippi, Tomeka Q. Hickmon Gill (Fred) of Union, Mississippi, and Marco L. Hickmon (Nicole) of Decatur, Mississippi; two siblings preceded him in death, Emma L. Cleveland and Eliza Davis; grandchildren, Michael Davis (who preceded him in death), Reginald, Andrea, Yolanda, Dwayne, Zachary, Josh, Terry and Donald Davis, Andre, Nidi and Naja Hart, LaTarian Hickmon, Ja’Karian (Keon) Hickmon, Talayah Townsend, Mercedes and Jaheim Gill, Layla Hickmon, Maverick Hickmon and Jayce Beal; five (5) great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
