Muriel Isabella Collins and Jordan Paul Hughes are to be married Saturday, May 21st in a private ceremony to be followed by a marriage celebration with friends and family in Eugene, Oregon on August 6th.
Miss Collins is a law clerk for the Law Office of Marc Boutwell in Oxford and an extern in the Shelby County, Tennessee District Attorney’s Office. She graduated summa cum laude from Mississippi College in Political Science and earned a Juris Doctorate from the University of Mississippi School of Law, with honors.
She is the daughter of Chris and Tammy Collins, and the granddaughter of JoAnne Ethridge Collins and the late Muriel C. Collins, all of Union. Her maternal grandparents were Ernest and Judy Rogers of Florence.
Mr. Hughes, a native of Eugene, Oregon, graduated from Gonzaga University in Business Administration, and is employed as the Marketing and Advertising Manager of Orgill, Inc. in Memphis. He is the son of Erik and Kelly Hughes of Eugene. His grandparents are Liv Hughes and the late Paul Hughes of Portland, Oregon. His maternal grandparents were the late Stan and Jackie Howard of Eugene.
