Clifton Jordan Richardson, 67, of Newton passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021, at his home in Newton. He was born Sunday, Dec. 20, 1953, in Newton.
Visitation was held Tuesday, June 15, 2021, from 5 until 8 p.m. at Newton County Funeral Home-South. Funeral services were held Wednesday, June 16, 2021, at 10 a.m. at Newton County Funeral Home-South. Burial was in Pine Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Tommy Tanner officiated with assistance from the Rev. Daniel Richardson and the Rev. David Richardson. Newton County Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Cliff enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, working in the garden, and spending time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Doris Richardson, his grandson, Tyler Jordan Richardson, and his infant twin brothers.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Richardson, his children, Robby Richardson, Vicki Moore (Chris), Stephanie Little, and Larry Holsonback (Kay), his grandchildren, Erin Nickum (Matthew), Jack Moore (Bethany), Megan Richardson, Loraina Richardson, Ember Bell, Jessieka Little and Austin Holsonback (Amber); four great-grandchildren, his siblings, Stanley Richardson (Bobbi Jo), the Rev. Daniel Richardson (Barbara), the Rev. David Richardson (Jean), Dayla “DayDay” Richardson, and Donna “Monkey Girl” Richardson, numerous nieces and nephews, his brothers and sisters-in-law, Shirley White, Tammie Kynerd, and Ron White (Patti), and his dog, Butch.
Pallbearers were Jack Moore, Josh Richardson, Shannon Doss, Wayne Doss, Jason Graves, and William Lucy.
