Benefit Program at Mt. Vernon M.B. Church
Mt. Vernon Missionary Baptist Church in Hickory will be having a Benefit Program for Sis. Jennifer Smith on the fourth Saturday of August, Aug. 24, at 6:30 p.m. All choirs, soloists, and quartets are welcomed.
Pastor Anniversary at Pine Ridge M.B. Church
The Pine Ridge Missionary Baptist Church in Decatur will be celebrating Pastor Tony Jordan’s 21st Year Anniversary on Sunday, Aug. 25, at 11 a.m. Rev. Eric Hill, Pastor of Union Grove M.B. Church in Union, will be the guest speaker. Everyone is invited to attend.
Revival at Greater Corinth M.B. Church
The Greater Corinth Missionary Baptist Church family cordially invites you to our revival services to be held on Aug. 25-28, beginning at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Rodney Young, pastor of Sand Ridge M.B. Church and Mt. Pleasant M.B. Church. Pastor Antwain Brown, pastor of Altare M.B. Church will bring the word Monday thru Wednesday, beginning at 7 p.m. nightly.

Community Fish Fry to Raise Funds for Pastor and Wife
The friends and family of Pastor Earl Campbell and Sis. Shanta Campbell will hold a Fish Fry in the parking lot of The Local Sip on Aug. 31, from 12 p.m. – until. We will be selling whiting plates for $7 and Catfish plates for $9. We are also seeking donations of supplies, food items, or monetary contributions.
If you are able to contribute, please contact Flora Bailey at 601-562-2954 or Diannae Campbell at 601-616-0446 to discuss how you can help. We also accept donations via cash app to Shanta Campbell at $SuperMomSC. We are asking that each church make a financial contribution. We also ask for those that will be purchasing fish to please drop it off with one of us by Aug. 29. All other items that will be donated, please drop off by Aug. 30.
Pastor Earl and Sis. Campbell are facing significant financial challenges due to their health and medical conditions. As a community, we believe in coming together to support one another in times of need. The Local Sip is located at 300 Peachtree Street in Union.
