Municipal candidates are invited to attend a Political Forum to be held at the Third New Hope Building in Newton on Thursday, March 20. The forum will begin promptly at 5:30 p.m.
Newton County Amnesty Day
The Newton County household hazardous waste collection Amnesty Day will take place on Saturday, March 22, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Newton County Coliseum (Show Barn). Audition for the NTC’s Adult Play “Victoria’s House”
The Newton Theatre Company will hold their audition for the spring adult play “Victoria’s House” on Saturday, March 22, beginning at 10 a.m. at The Roxy Theatre in Downtown Newton. Performances for “Victoria’s House” are scheduled for Friday, May 30 – Sunday, June 1.

Church in Decatur will hold its Annual Spring Revival beginning on Sunday, March 23rd at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Joshua Lyles of Bethel MB Church, Hickory, MS; Monday, March 24th at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Chris Thompson of Pleasant Valley MB Church, Union, MS; and concluding on Tuesday, March 25th at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Dorsett Buckley of Greater Calvary MB Church, Meridian, MS.
