Union Recreation Youth Diamond League Registration Deadline Extended to Aug. 4
Fall Ball registration deadline for the Union Recreation Youth Diamond League has been extended to August 4. Forms can be picked up at the Union Library. Players Fee is $70 w/uniforms included. Baseball ages: 4-13 by May 1, 2024. Softball ages: 4-13 by January 1, 2024. For questions or more information, please contact Roderick Hawkins or Union Recreation Youth Diamond League on Facebook.

Harris High School Reunion
The Harris High School Reunion will take place on two days, August 4 and 5. On August 4, the Reunion will be at the Commerce Building, located at 18206 Hwy 80 in Hickory from 5 p.m.-until. Then on Aug. 5, the Reunion will be at the old Harris school grounds on Hwy 80 East in Hickory from 1 p.m.-until.
Newton County Farmer’s Market
Please join us for the Newton County Farmer’s Market on August 5 from 8 a.m.-12 p.m. at ESCO Park, located at 9098 Eastside Drive in Newton.

NCHS Football Friday Night Lights Kickoff Banquet
Newton County Football is looking forward to our Friday Night Lights Kick Off Banquet on August 5. Our guest speaker will be the new Head Football Coach at East Central Community College, Coach Jonathan Webster.
Tickets will be $25 ($10 for players) and will include a meal and silent auction.
