Salsa Canning Workshop hosted by the Newton County Extension Office
On Aug. 13, at 10 a.m., the Newton County Extension Office will host a salsa canning workshop.

Busy Hands Quilt Guild Meeting
Members and friends of the Busy Hands Quilt Guild will meet August 13 in the Fellowship Hall of the Decatur United Methodist Church. Sit and Sew begins at 9:30 a.m. and our afternoon program begins at 1 p.m. Anyone interested in the craft of making quilt tops, by hand or machine, is invited to attend. Union Country Day 2024
Union Country Day 2024 will be on Saturday, Sept. 21. Festivities include the County Gal/Boy Pageant, a 5K Walk/Run, a Car Show, a Kids Zone, plenty of vendors and entertainment throughout the day, and more. For more information, check out the Union Chamber of Commerce Facebook page.
Sip and Stitch hosted at Union Public Library
The Union Public Library will host Sip and Stitch on the fourth Tuesday of each month between the hours of 2-5 p.m. Sip and Stitch is a casual gathering of hand crafters.
