Liberty Baptist to host Rochester family
The Rochester family gospel group, of Blackburn, S.C., will be in concert at 7 p.m. March 23 at Liberty Baptist Church, 1969 Liberty Church Road, Newton. The Rochesters perform a blend of bluegrass and southern gospel music. The public is invited and encouraged to attend, and a love offering will be taken.
Pleasant Grove to host health and wellness fair
Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Newton, will be sponsoring a free health and wellness fair from 9-11 a.m. Saturday, March 24. Members of the public are invited. Health care professionals will be providing education on diabetes, immunizations, hypertension, sleep apnea and obesity. Services such as blood pressure and blood glucose screening, as well as body fat analysis (BMI) will be provided.
Sunny Hill to host youth leadership conference
Sunny Hill MB Church, Decatur, will host a youth leadership conference at 6 p.m. Sunday, March 24. The theme of the conference will be “God is Lit,” and will consist of a community youth choir, praise dance and mime.

Murray Chapel COGIC to host youth revival

The St. Mark MB Church, 7445 Mudline Road, Lake, will be having its second quarterly prayer breakfast at 9 a.m. Saturday, April 28. The topic for the event will be “Living my purpose”—Jeremiah 29:11-13; and the subtopic will be “God’s leading ladies.”
The speaker will be first lady Natarsha Lindsey. This event will include prayer, praise, fun, food and fellowship. Also, there will be community agencies and vendors to provide community information/resources to the public. Everyone is invited.
