Man charged with murder near Conehatta school

A Philadelphia man has been charged after a Georgia man was shot and killed on Choctaw tribal lands in Conehatta late Friday night.

Newton County Sheriff Joedy Pennington said Qualee Fryer, 21, of Philadelphia was arrested Friday night and was charged with murder. His bond was denied by Justice Court Judge Justin Chaney on Sunday.
