The City of Union Police Department extends its most sincere gratitude and admiration to the citizens of Union and the surrounding area for their invaluable assistance in identifying two burglary suspects. The support and prompt response from our community have played a pivotal role in the successful resolution of this case.
Earlier this month, the Union Police Department reached out to the community through social media, sharing images of two individuals suspected of involvement in a burglary. The response from our community was remarkable, with citizens coming together to provide crucial information that led to the identification of the suspects.
Thanks to the collaborative efforts of the community, 31-year old Johnathan Daniel Webb of Conehatta and 31-year old Robert Matthew Reddin of Union were arrested and charged with Grand Larceny, a felony with a maximum penalty of up to 5 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.
The alleged burglary took place at a residence on the West side of the City of Union, where a significant number of tools and equipment were reported stolen. The swift action and cooperation of our community have been instrumental in bringing these individuals to justice and recovering the stolen property.
All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. For further information or to report a crime, call the Union Police Department at (601)774-9211.
