East Central Community College in Decatur is pleased to announce its upcoming Orientation designed to help new students successfully transition to college life. This personalized event will take place on campus and provide students with essential information and resources to help them navigate their first semester at the college.
Orientation is a mandatory event for all new degree-seeking students at ECCC. The event is tailored to each major plan of study, to ensure that students receive guidance specific to their academic goals. Each session is capped to provide an intimate, personalized experience for attendees.
During Orientation, new students will be introduced to campus services and resources, including financial aid and campus housing. They will also have the opportunity to ask any questions they may have and receive guidance through their first academic advisement and course registration experience. The event is designed to help students feel confident and prepared as they embark on their college journey.
