East Central Community College has a full slate of scheduled events with this week's Warrior Weekend and Homecoming on October 10.
Warrior Weekend
• Thursday, October 3rd - Lady Warrior Softball games at 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
• Friday, October 4th - Warrior Baseball game at 11:00 a.m.
• Friday, October 4th - Lady Warrior Soccer game at 5:00 p.m.
• Friday, October 4th - Warrior Soccer game at 7:00 p.m.
Soccer Alumni Night is scheduled for Friday, October 4th during the Lady Warrior and Warrior Soccer matches.
Homecoming Activities, Thursday, October 10th
• Noon - Pep Rally (East Mall)
• 3:00 p.m. - Reception and Reunions for Class of 1974, Former EC Faculty and Staff, and Alumni Honorees (Brackeen Wood Gym)
• 3:30 p.m. - Recognition of Alumni Honorees and Reunion Groups (Brackeen Wood Gym)
• 4:30 p.m. - Alumni Association Tailgating (Bailey Stadium)
• 6:30 p.m. - Football Game
Deadline to Purchase a Brick Tile for The Alumni House
The East Central Community College Foundation is selling brick tiles to raise funds to restore The Alumni House, which is the original president's home located at the corner of Broad Street and North 7th Avenue on the front of the Decatur campus.
The tiles will cover the surface of the east wing porch. The cost is $125 per tile. Each tile has three lines of copy with 20 characters per line including spaces and punctuation.
The deadline to purchase brick tiles is October 10th - Homecoming Day.
