Warriors Fall in Super Regional

The future of the East Central baseball team is now in the hands of the NJCAA baseball committee. The Warriors fell short in the Region 23 Super Regional last week, falling to Pearl River. The Wildcats took the first game 22-1 before East Central rebounded to win 6-4.

Warrior's Baseball Headed Back to College World Series

For the third straight year, the East Central Community College baseball team is headed to Enid, Oklahoma to the NJCAA Division II College World Series.

The Warriors found out on Tuesday that they had received one of two at-large bids into the 12-team national tournament.

Sports Briefs: ECCC Warrior Golf Classic Fundraiser Returns May 14 to Dancing Rabbit

Registration is already underway for the 18th Annual Warrior Golf Classic scheduled for Friday, May 14, on the Azaleas Course of the Dancing Rabbit Golf Club in Choctaw.

Proceeds from the tournament support the scholarship program at East Central Community College, and during the last tournament more than $12,000 was raised.
