Education: Southern Miss Announces Local Graduates in the Fall 2025 Class

The University of Southern Mississippi (USM) awarded undergraduate, graduate and specialist degrees to approximately 1,300 students during its fall 2025 commencement ceremonies held Dec. 11-12 on the Hattiesburg campus. Area USM graduates include:

Decatur-Matthew Lamar Cheatham (Master of Science).

Lawrence-J’Alex Geni Hardy (Bachelor of Science).

Newton-Jia Lynn Sanders (Bachelor of Arts) and Jamarius Davis Broach (Bachelor of Science).

Union-Britli M. Cleveland (Bachelor of Arts), Christopher Garret Johnston (Bachelor of Music Education), and Parker F. Rigby (Doctorate of Nursing Practice).
