Ms. Eula Katherine Lyle Spears was born on Oct. 7, 1924. She married Lain Spears on May 12, 1945, and they have two sons: Gary Spears and Ricky Spears. She also has three grandchildren, two great-grandsons, and one great-great-granddaughter.
Ms. Spears spent many years working at Midland Shirt Factory in Union, Mississippi, where she later retired. Her passions include sewing and gardening, where she grows beautiful flowers. She attributes her health and longevity to her Christian faith. She has always been a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.
Her family hosted a celebration in her honor for her 100th birthday on Oct. 6, 2024, at J.G. Alexander Nursing Center in Union, Mississippi.
