A former employee of The Citizens Bank in Union has been arrested on multiple felony embezzlement charges, according to the Newton County Sheriff's Department.
Gail Coker, 60, of Union, was arrested by the Union Police Department on the morning of March 3, 2025. Coker faces four separate charges of embezzlement, each involving an amount valued between $5,000 and $25,000.
Further details on the circumstances surrounding the charges were not immediately available. All persons are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
