The junior running back had 243 yard rushing on 29 carries to lead the Hornets to a 34-20 win over Bogue Chitto.
Cameron McDonald
Newton County — Cameron McDonald
The defensive end led the Cougars with seven solo tackles and three assists. He also had two fumble recoveries in a 39-6 win over Southeast Lauderdale.
Kenyon Clay
Union — Kenyon Clay
The junior quarterback rushed for 158 yards on 13 carries with five touchdowns and had 95 yards passing with a TD in a 48-0 win over Eupora.
Kari Michaels
Sebastopol — Kari Michaels
The sophomore running back had 73 yards rushing on 12 carries and three touchdowns in a 41-13 win over Noxapater.
Kasey Watts
Newton — Kasey Watts
Led the Newton defense with five tackles and two fumble recoveries in a 20-13 win over Leake Central.
Zandar Meeks
NCA — Zandar Meeks
Had a 30-yard touchdown pass for the Generals in a 44-6 loss to Wayne Academy.
