The Newton County Academy Lady Generals secured the district championship this past week with a no-hit win at Hebron Christian.
After losing 10-3 to rival Sylva Bay on Monday, the Lady Generals beat Hebron Christian 15-0 to secure the district championship.
NCA, now 8-13-1 on the season, will advance to the North 3A tournament on Saturday in Senatobia.

The Lady Generals got a no-hitter from Lilly Hollingsworth to take a four-inning win on the road on Tuesday.
NCA scored three in the first inning and exploded for 10 in the second. They added single runs in the third and fourth innings for the final margin.
NCA had 12 hits and took advantage of seven errors. Addie Bergeron was 3-for-4 with two runs scored and two RBIs. Belle Hollingsworth was 2-for-3 with two runs scored while Ashlyn Mathis was 2-for-4 with a double. Macie Woodham was 2-for-e while Sydnee Cosgrove tripled, scored twice and had two RBIs. Lilly Hollingsworth doubled and drove in two runs while Gracie Humphreys walked twice and scored two runs.
Lilly Hollingsworth pitched all four innings and gave up just one walk while striking out eight.
Sylva Bay 10, NCA 3
The Lady Saints used a big second inning and hung on to take the win on Monday.
The Lady Saints scored seven runs in the second inning and never looked back. NCA scored its three runs in the fourth inning.
NCA had six hits in the contest as Mallory Helm was 2-for-3 and Lilly Hollingsworth was 2-for-4. Addie Bergeron walked twice and had a single while Ashlyn Mathis singled and drove in a run.
Sydnee Cosgrove got the start and pitched four innings as she gave up eight runs with only one earned on five hits and two walks. Lilly Hollingsworth pitched the final two innings and gave up two runs on two hits.
