It was a perfect day for the Sixth Annual Hickory Pick’n Day on Saturday, as the temperature and weather provided a perfect environment for shopping, eating, and entertaining.
A large number of shoppers made their way to the flea market in Hickory to take part in all the fun, from shopping the over 100 different vendors while enjoying a piping hot cup of Brunswick Stew sold by the Veterans of Hickory Post 173, to hearing from local politicians and entertainers on the stage.
Taking place midway through the day was the Hickory Pick’n Talent Show. Winners of the talent show was Jaydon Carver, the Under 18 division winner, and Karen Morgan, winner of the Over 18 division.
