Robert Holder, a firefighter with the City of Newton Fire Department, was recently elected to serve as the Central Division Representative on the Executive Board of Mississippi Association of Public Fire Safety Educators (MAPFSE) at their annual conference held on June 25-26 in Biloxi.
Founded in 1993, the mission of MAPFSE is to help prevent fire deaths and fire related emergencies in Mississippi by providing leadership and direction to fire chiefs and departments, both volunteer and career, through information, education, programs, and public resources to increase awareness about fire safety and prevention.
Holder will serve the following counties in the Central Division: Attala, Clairborne, Hinds, Holmes, Humphreys, Issaquena, Kemper, Lauderdale, Leake, Madison, Neshoba, Newton, Noxubee, Rankin, Scott, Sharkey, Warren, Winston, and Yazoo.
