Dear Editor,
This is a concern about the Newton School issue. Since it was defeated, now their seems to be a pushed movement for another vote. This could go on forever until the school administration gets their vote.
To me, this reads like a new school, instead of a repair or update. A great amount of money for a Newton School, with so much large companies and resources, that pay taxes or not. The loss of the Lazy-boy hurt many in Newton, so the poor people here are expected to finance an 11 million dollar bond.
How many students, faculty, and others are employed by the school? Voters need to wake up now, or either be paying for this or more of these type bonds in the future.
If you are disabled, like myself, you can vote by mail. If you are for or against, go vote. Maybe more to come!
