The Sebastopol Bobcats won four out of five games in a busy week of baseball.
The Bobcats won two division games last week, beating McAdams 26-0 and 22-0 while losing 11-4 to Scott central on Thursday. On Saturday, Sebastopol beat Forest 4-2 and Philadelphia 14-0.
Sebastopol has four games scheduled this week as they will travel to Leake County on Tuesday in a division contest. Sebastopol will play at Pelahatchie on Thursday and will host Leake County on Friday. Sebastopol will finish the week on Saturday as they host Lake in a 1 p.m. contest.
Sebastopol 14, Philadelphia 0
The Bobcats needed just three and a half innings to take a run-rule win over the Tornadoes on Saturday.
After a scoreless first inning, Sebastopol scored 13 in the second and one in the third to take the win.
Sebastopol had just four hits and drew seven walks and took advantage of four errors. Jacob Williams homered and scored two runs while Jake Kimble singled, scored two runs and had three RBIs.
Cy Mooney started on the mound and pitched all four innings, giving up three hits while striking out seven.
Sebastopol 4, Forest 2
The Bobcats scored late and took a two run-win on Saturday over the Bearcats.
After two scoreless innings, Sebastopol scored one in the third and fourth to lead 2-0. Forest then scored one in the fifth and sixth to tie the game at 2-2. Sebastopol then scored two in the bottom of the sixth to take the win.
Each team had seven hits in the contest. Cy Mooney was 3-for-3 with a double while Jacob Williams, Makarious Michaels and Morgan Harper each had doubles.
Jacob Williams started on the mound and pitched six inning, giving up two runs on six hits and three walks. Michaels pitched the last inning and gave up one hit while striking two.
Sebastopol 22, McAdams 0
The Bobcats needed just three innings to take a run-rule win over the Bulldogs on Friday.
Sebastopol scored 15 in the first, four int he second and three in the third.
Sebastopol had 21 hits, led by Jacob Williams who was 3-for-3 with a triple, four runs scored and four RBIs. Jess Johnson was 3-for-3 with four runs scored and two RBIs while Luke McGarrity was 3-for-3 with three RBIs. Makarious Micheals was 3-for-4 with a double and three runs scored while Jake Kimble was 3-for-4 with a triple. Morgan Harper was 2-for-2 with two walks, four runs scored and three RBIs. Alex McDill was 2-for-2 with two walks with a double, two runs scored and four RBIs.
Camron Lee pitched two innings and struck out four without giving up a hit while McDill pitched a perfect third and struck out two.
Scott Central 11, Sebastopol 4
The Rebels banged out 14 hits and took a seven-run win over the Bobcats on Thursday.
Scott scored one in the first while Sebastopol scored one in the bottom of the second. Scott then scored four in the third and three in the fourth and led 8-2. Scott scored one in the fifth while each team scored two runs in the seventh.
Scott Central outhit Sebastopol 14-9 in the contest. Jess Johnson was 2-for-4 while Makarious Michaels doubled and drove in two runs. Jake Kimble also homered for Sebastopol while Alex McDill was hit by a pitch twice.
Jess Johnson started on the mound and pitched 3 2/3 innings and gave up eight runs on nine hits and three walks. Cy Mooney pitched 1 1/3 innings and gave up one run on one hit and two walks while striking out two. Michaels pitched the last two innings and gave up two runs on three hits while striking out four.
Sebastopol 26, McAdams 0
The Bobcats scored 24 runs in the first inning and needed just two and a half innings to take a run-rule win on Monday.
Sebastopol had 15 hits in the contest and drew 15 walks. Jacob Williams was 3-for-3 with a grand slam home run, three runs scored and six RBIs. Camron Lee was 3-for-3 with a double, three runs scored and two RBIs. Jess Johnson was 2-for-2 with a double, four runs scored and two RBIs. Luke McGarrity was 2-for-2 with two runs scored and three RBIs. Alex McDill walked three times, scored three runs and had three RBIs while Makarious Micheals walked twice and scored three runs. Jake Kimble tripled, walked twice, had two RBIs and scored three runs. Cy Mooney also scored three runs.
Mooney started on the mound and pitched an inning and walked one and struck out two. Camron Lee pitched two innings and struck out six.
