Lake improved to 11-1 on the season with a pair of blowout wins last week.
Lake opened the week with a 10-0 win over Choctaw Central on Wednesday and then finished with a 13-1 win over Raleigh on Saturday.
Lake is scheduled to play at Newton on Tuesday and will play at Taylorsville on Thursday. Lake will host Newton on Friday and will then host Sebastopol on Saturday in a 1 p.m. contest.
Lake 10, Choctaw Central 0
The Hornets banged out 14 hits and took a run-rule win over the Warriors on Wednesday.
Lake scored three in the first, two in the second and two in the fourth.
Lake outhit Choctaw 14-3 in the contest. Aiden Alford was 3-for-3 with a double and three runs scored. Ben Moore was 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs while Josh Alford and Kasen Tune were each 2-for-3. Kenny Ray Hanna singled and drove in three runs. Jalen Gray also doubled and scored.
Jacob Lanier started and pitched four innings, giving up one run and one walk while striking out seven. Riley Bell pitched one inning and gave up two hits while striking out two.
Lake 13, Raleigh 1
The Hornets didn’t allow a hit and scored in five of the six inning as they took another run-rule win on Saturday over the Lions.
Lake scored two in the first, four in the second and one in the third to go up 7-0. After Raleigh scored one in the fourth, Lake scored three in the fifth and sixth.
Lake outhit Raleigh 14-0 in the contest. Jalen Gray was 3-for-3 with three runs scored while Jamey Lanier was 3-for-5 with a double and three RBIs. Aiden Alford was 3-for-5 with two RBIs while Trey Gray was 2-for-2 with two runs scored. Brady McGee doubled, scored twice and had two RBIs.
Jacob Lanier started and pitched all six innings and gave up one unearned run on two walks while striking out six.
