The Sebastopol Lady Bobcats won three big division games last week.
The Lady Bobcats beat Leake County 47-24, Noxapater 54-32 and McAdams 51-44.
The Bobcats lost a pair of tight games as they lost 57-51 to Leake County and 91-72 to McAdams. They got a forfeit win over Noxapater.
Sebastopol will return to action this week as they are scheduled to host French Camp on Tuesday and Ethel on Friday in division play. Sebastopol will then host Newton County on Saturday in non-division play.
Sebastopol girls 47, Leake County 24
The Lady Bobcats used a big third period to pull away and take a district win over Leake County on Saturday.
In a low-scoring first half, Sebastopol outscored Leake 7-3 in the second and 7-5 in the second to lead 14-8 at the half. The Lady Bobcats then pulled away in the third as they outscored the Lady Gators 22-2 to take a 36-10 lead into the fourth. Leake took the fourth period 14-11 for the final margin.
Alana Gunn led Sebastopol with 27 points while Cyrish Maqalang had six points.
Leake County boys 57, Sebastopol 51
The Gators got off to quick starts in each half and held on to take a six-point win over the Bobcats.
Leake led 12-7 at the end of the first but the Bobcats outscored the Gators 11-9 in the second and tailed 21-18 at the half. Lake then outscored Sebastopol 16-10 in the third and led 37-28 going to the fourth. Sebastopol outscored Leake 23-20 in the fourth for the final margin.
Jacob Williams led Sebastopol with 18 points while Kari Micheals had 10 points. Kenyon White had nine points while Luke McGarrity had seven points.
Sebastopol girls 54, Noxapater 32
The Lady Bobcats jumped out to a quick lead and crushed to a 22-point win over the Lady Tigers.
Sebastopol started fast and jumped out to a 22-3 lead in the first period and led 30-11 at the half. The Lady Bobcats outscored the Lady Tigers 16-9 in the third to take a 46-20 lead into the fourth. Noxapater took the fourth period 12-8 for the final margin.
Alana Gunn led the Lady Bobcats with 17 points while Takayla Williams had 15 points. Kylee Madden and Hadley Thrash each had six points apiece.
Sebastopol girls 51, McAdams 44
The Lady Bobcats outscored the Lady Bulldogs in three of the four periods and took a tough seven-point win.
Sebastopol led 8-2 at the end of the first but McAdams outscored the Lady Bobcats 15-9 in the second to tie the game at 17-17 at the half. Sebastopol then outscored McAdams 13-11 in the third and 21-16 in the fourth to take the win.
Alana Gunn led Sebastopol with 25 points while TaKayla Williams had 11 points.
McAdams boys 91, Sebastopol 72
The Bulldogs pulled away in the fourth and took a 19-point win over the Bobcats.
McAdams led 22-14 in the first period while Sebastopol outscored the Bulldogs 16-13 in the second to cut the lead to 35-30. Sebastopol then outscored McAdams 23-18 in the third to tie the game at 53-53 going to the fourth. But the Bulldogs exploded in the fourth as they outscored the Bobcats 38-19 to take the win.
Jacob Williams led Sebastopol with 28 points while Kenyon White had 25 points. Kari Micheals also had eight points.
