National Teddy Beat Day
Tuesday, September 10th, marked National Teddy Bear Day. Newton County Elementary Educators, Mrs. Jennifer Bond and Mrs. Whitney Barnett, were up for the challenge to host a Teddy Bears and Tiaras Tea Party to review the letter, “Tt.” Kindergartners in their class were given the opportunity to reflect over their own names to check and see if their name indeed had the focus letter in it. Guest NC Superintendent Brooke Sibley surprised the students with a treat. Yes, her treat began with the letter, “Tt”.
